Day Off - Sunny/Hot/Clear Woke up at 10AM - well rested. Lazed around and drank coffee. Jackie called - told us Die Kreuzen showed up at The Offenders gig at Pi Lam - played great. Enigma wants 2000 more lyric sheets - 4000 total. They plan to sell 6000?!! Also we're number 10 out of 20 on the CMJ Adventure Pick List - COOL! July 26, 1985 - Irvine, CA - Arrival

Day Off - Overcast/Warm/Cool Wake at 8:30. Shower and pack up. Dave R. calls service center at 9:30 told us to call back at 10:30. We watch TV. Calls back - car will pick us up in 15 minutes. Day Off - Sunny/Hot Woke up at 8:30. Get our stuff together and out by 9:30. Stop and get coffee on our way. Show Day - Hot/Sunny/Cloudy Late Up at 8:30 in an effort to dry clothes and get to Des Moines by 6PM. Cleanup - pack up. Dave R. and I dry clothes. Day Off - Sunny/Cooler Up at 11AM or so - clean up - pack up. Walked to State Street. Got breakfast at a weird cafe - hippy type joint. Good croissants, iced tea, coffee, apple tarts, sandwiches. Show Day - Cloudy/Humid Woke at 12:30. Everybody was up. Had coffee and bagel. Kelly was at work. We did laundry - lots of it. Watched Live Aid on TV. George Thorogood with Albert Collins - hot. Show Day - Sunny/Hot Woke at 9AM. Got cleaned up (me - no shower or shave - cleaned my contacts). Went to the "Egg & I" restaurant for breakfast. Left Minneapolis 11:30 or so. Show Day - Cloudy/Cool Up 7AM. Out of the Smarts place by 8:30 - onto route 90-94 out of city. Lots of traffic. Dave drove. We stopped about 10:30 for breakfast at an "Oasis" over the highway.
