Up at noon after a dream about making coffee. I make coffee, sit and smoke. Drink java and read - a great morning ritual. Others rise and we leave late for eats - "Mama's Kitchen" again. We pick up the film - look at Lee and Dan's pictures - some good ones. Back to the house. Dave calls his sister in San Antonio. Lee, Dan, Joe and I go to movies to see "Blue Velvet". Very good, very disturbing movie. David Lynch directs - "Eraserhead" style, yet refined and able to tell a story. Great movie but I don't know if I'd see it again real soon.

The one and only Blue Velvet. Come to think of it, I probably haven't seen this movie again yet.

Home - David left for his sister's. Rodney has been reading. We leave later at 10:30 and eat at Burger King. They drive me home and then they go to a party. I write Eden and Chris silly letters. Everyone returns except Rod - he'll find his own way back. Listen to Peter Gabriel record and write. To bed at 2:30AM.
