Day Off - Sunny/Cool

Up late. I shower. I'm feeling kind of shitty. Eat with Kathy and Brian at "Cafe Ramarez". I'm sure we'll be eating lots of Mexican stuff in the next few weeks. Back to the house and hang out (after laundry). Glass Eye is rehearsing. Joe and I stay. The others go on a liquor run. All return and we hang out. After GA are done rehearsing, Brian and Dave the drummer take me to a house that a bunch of percussionists live in and make all kinds of noisy stuff. We check out odds and ends for extra stuff to record with. Back at the house. I write and go to sleep at 1. I'm bushed. We play the "Cave Club" tomorrow.

I seem to remember that the percussionists had built large things to hit out back in the yard. There were PVC tubes of different lengths that you would whack the end of with a rubber flip flop. Dave the drummer was Dave Cameron - he used to be in Brave Combo.

Dean, if you haven't seen the stage show "STOMP", you should really check it out. It's a percussionists dream.

I have in fact seen a video of the production. It was great. We even had a Sesame Street tape for my son featuring some of the cast as guests.
