Up at 10:30. We pack up and eat. I drive the first leg - I'm sick but want to get to Austin and I drive first thinking that I won't feel like it later. I drive for 4 hours or so. Stop, change drivers, eat and DRIVE, DRIVE, DRIVE. We finally get Brian [on the phone] in Fredericksburg Texas. We drive the rest of the way to Austin - loads of deer in the road - we have to be careful not to hit them. We get to the 'Glass Eye' house at 2:30 - talk to Brian - he's very excited about the record etc. He even listens to the demo before leaving us to sleep. Home!
