Up at 10. Mojo rises. We pack and look at each other's morning ugly mugs. Mojo and crew leave at 12:30 for a gig in LA. We leave at 1 and lock the doors. Drive to "Rudford's Diner", eat and hang out downtown. Go thrifting and I buy a recorder for 10 bucks. I was going to keep it but I'll give it to Chris for X-mas. It's musical and he's got a new studio so he might find a use for it.

Rudford's is still there - serving it up 24/7. Chris is a friend with who I was later in the band Baby Flamehead. He plays in about 3-4 bands in Philly now and is one of my favorite guitar players.

We then go to John Fox's house. He's a Temple University friend of Joe and Dan's. Hang out and then to 91X for a radio interview and ID's. Dickhead DJ - Billy Bones. Silly fun. Tell him we all started in 'Beatles' coverbands. HAHA. Then to the "Spirit Club".

91X is still there.

We load in and get a bunch of shit about Matt and Rich being underage. They can't come in and Joe can't be in the club unless he's on stage (he lost his drivers license). We sound check along with the other 4!!! opening bands - one at 8, 9, 10, 11 and then us at 12 - Fuck!

5 bands! The show was probably tacked onto the tour so maybe there wasn't great planning involved...

We go to an Italian restaurant to eat. Back to the club - we all stay in the van outside most of the time. All the other bands suck. We eventually play an OK to good set to a bunch of weirdos who eventually got into it. Afterwards Lee sold T-Shirts - only a few. He got hassled from almost everybody - they wanted them for free - what a bunch of fuckheads. I don't think we'll play here again unless the contract is fully honored and we get more money etc. Maybe with Mojo in the Spring. We pack up and drive back to Matt and Rich's apartment in Anaheim. To bed at 4AM.

Hmmmm, Anaheim or Huntington Beach? I'm confused as to where we stayed.
