Up and out. We eat and make calls. Dave R. tells us we have a San Diego gig on Friday - all our plans have changed. We can go to 'Campers' or Hotel Hell for today but must drive to LA Tuesday (tomorrow). Wednesday is a meeting with Restless Records Thursday off [Thanksgiving]. San Diego Friday, Los Angeles Saturday and Phoenix Sunday - that will be the last show until Austin Texas.

We make calls. I can't seem to get the Campers. Lee and Dan seem to want to go to LA today. We all disagree. I'd like to go to either hotel Hell or Santa Cruz. We end up doing what I had not wanted; "Oh we'll drive part way to LA - it's 8 hours you know". We ended up driving all the fucking way and checking into a motel. We walk across the street to eat at "Mimi's". Lee knows one of the girls there. We talk and get a good dinner. She invites us to her house for a party later - her folks are gone until tomorrow. Back to the room and watch TV.

Lee stayed at the restaurant to talk with Tracy. Dan, Joe and I were in the room when Rod banged into the door. I open it up to find him wheeling Dave around in a shopping cart. I thought this to be rather stupid because we're 6 in a room for 4 and very close and in full view of the office. I yelled and said get that thing out of here and slammed the door. They ditched it and came back saying I was no fun. The phone rings and of course they don't answer. I pick up and it's the lady at the front desk; "Yes, someone from my room was with a shopping cart, Yes I'll make sure they return it, and Yes, we'll be quiet" because we disturbed the other people at the hotel. OK-OK. About three minutes later she called again; "Make sure it's returned where you got it"...blah, blah, blah. Anyway, that was that.

Heh - sounds pretty funny now. I guess the joke was on me.

At 11, Lee Rod and I go to the party. Drink and hang out. Rod has an adventure with Tracy's sister and another guy - NO - not like that - they went to Tracy's old boyfriend's apartment to hassle him - he keeps calling Tracy and won't leave her alone. We all go back to our hotel and to sleep at 2AM.
