Up at 10:30 - out and eat. To K-Mart and hang out. Drive to Indianapolis and arrive at the "Vogue Theater" about 7PM. Cool place. We wait to get in with Bill "The Ghost" Levin - the wild man, at a bar called "Muggin's" He buys us a beer. Its his birthday.

"The Ghost" has been mentioned before.

We go to the club - it's a huge joint - an old theater. 'Meatloaf' etc. has played here. We load equipment into dressing room - no sound check. A flea market and "Gong Show" will precede our set (and lots of drinking too!). We hang out and help decorate with streamers etc. There are "Tweety Birds" along the front of the stage. We go to eat at "Renee's French Cafe". Good food but the waitress was real obnoxious - she used the memory technique of repeating everything you order - she didn't write the check down.

The Vogue is still going strong.

Back to the Vogue. Hang out - Stewart shows up. The guys from Muncie show up. Gong show starts. I tell a joke for 8 points. Lots of food throwing. A pie eating contest - Joe entered after we prodded him to do it - he almost won despite a guy who weighed about 500 pounds who also entered. There was a grape eating contest, a banana eating contest. We played a drunken set to a few people. We had fun. Pack up. Stop at Muggin's and drink brews. Go to Bill's house and drink. Hang out with JJ' the drummer from 'Toxic Reasons'. Rod stayed with someone - we'll pick him up in the morning. To bed at 5AM.

Toxic Reasons are legendary.
