October 26, 1986 - Nashville, TN

Show Day - Cloudy/Rainy

Up last. Shower then we lay around. Leave at 11:45. Drive - eat in Memphis about 3 - I drive. Lee then takes over - I have a splitting headache. We get there [Nashville, TN] at 7. Set up and hang out. Sound check - OK sound - not great. Eat at TGIF - cool waitress - we put her on the guest list and she comes to the show later.

This may be the only time we ate at a TGIF.

Back to the club - opening band plays - 'Signal or Die' - pretty bad. The one guitar player smashes an axe [guitar that is] at the end. We play - some technical problems and some mistakes mar the show but we got through it with no major scratches. The people that turned up seemed to like it OK. We pack up and "collect our 200 and go to Boardwalk". Drive to Kentucky and stay at a Days Inn. To bed at 3:30 or so.

Whaa? What's with the Monopoly references?
