Wake up at 10 or so. I have a wicked hangover. I lie on the floor in the "weight room" of the house. Lee gets up and Dan shows up. The others had slept in the back room. Lee and Dan lift weights and I silently scream for mercy. I eventually get up and take a shower in a scummy bathroom. We leave at 12. Drive to "Steak 'n Egg" then drive to Tampa. Arrive about 6:30. Load in - lights not up yet. Hang out and set up drums. Load onto stage then go out to eat at the "Spaghetti Warehouse".

Back to the "Ritz" - an old theater. This is the first auditorium show with seats we've done. Hang out. Dave and I do an interview outside in the swell Florida air. First two bands are pretty boring. We go on at 11:30 or so. Really big echo in the room but we play well despite no sound check. We play an hour and twenty minute set. Joe made sets with 30 songs "Cause the guy charged 10 bucks at the door". Tom and Crystal show up with shirts. Yellow? - What happened to the "Paisley" shirts? Lee sells tons. $300 in shirts tonight. Pack up. Talk to a few people then leave and drive to "Siesta Key" - home for a week.
