Wake at 10 or so. Up and out - drive to Tallahassee - about 3 hours. Eat along the way. Arrive at the "San Francisco Trolley Stop" at 4 or so. T-Shirts have arrived (Yellow Lizard). Dave, Joe and I go to music stores. The second one we stopped in had the heads I needed. Back to club. Load in - micro stage - we have enough room to stand. New heads sound good - no ring. check goes OK. Other bands check - OK. We eat in the restaurant part of the club. OK food. This place is in one of those "strip mall" type places. Small lounge bar and restaurant. Hang out and talk to Alex the promoter, his girlfriend and another guy. Others go to mall and drug stores.

First band on - 'SDI' - sound like 60's heavy rock - not garage or psychedelic. I hang out and read in the van for a little while. Second band - 'Gothic Playground' is punk/hardcore but not very original. Good sense of humor. We go on at 11:45. The start of the set was sloppy but we finished it out very well. About 140 people showed up. It looked very crowed because the place is very small.

Pack up and we go to Alex's house to stay at about 1AM. A party begins when we get there. The house is big - kinda dirty but not as bad as some places we've stayed. More beer arrives. More people arrive. Rod and I are the last to sleep - I'm trashed - to bed about 4:30AM - I will regret my actions tomorrow.

As time went on we didn't stay at people's houses anymore due to the "Hey! the band is hanging out! Let's party!" factor. While we did stay with some very nice folks along the way, we eventually began to stay in motel/hotels all the time.
