October 08, 1986 - Arabi, GA

Day Off - Sunny/Hot

Up at 10AM - the usual morning ritual - out at 12. Eat at the "China Express" - something about eating Chinese food in Georgia doesn't make sense. It was good and cheap though. Then we went to the radio station to do ID's - Christmas ID's to be specific. We took Joe's new SG and the "Realistic" mini amp. We played "Silent Night" and "Jingle Bells" etc. Silly fun. Caroline the program director is real cool. We drive back to see if there is matinee of a movie - no luck. Go to post office and by a shit load of stamps. Drive out of town, get gas, I drive.

I'd love to hear those ID's now.

Get dinner at "Shoney's" then Lee drives. We thought we had a show in Atlanta but Dave R. rescheduled it. We have a show tomorrow in Tallahassee Florida. We stop in Arabi Georgia and check into a motel about 9 or so. We all write letters etc. I get ice and we fill a trash can with cold brewskies' (the case from North Carolina we've been carrying around for two days). Drink and watch TV. Listen to 'Soul Asylum' and 'Glass Eye'. To bed late.
