We played two shows at Al Capp's (same place we played on our first tour) in New Orleans. We were told to be there at 4, and we did show up on time. But the show did not start until 7 and no one needed us there until 6, so we hung out for two hours around the club.
The first show was all-ages. The second was 21+. Kids at first show circle-danced around a pole in the middle of the room. Graveyard Rodeo was the opening band, local and popular. They described their music as "ghoul rock". Another local band, Shell Shock, played - fast heavy metal / hardcore. Then we played.
We had a better crowd reaction for the second show, the bar show. Dave R. did a good job mixing sound.
