Up at 10. Shower - pack up and eat. Drive to Memphis - arrive at the "Antenna Club' early - check in isn't until 8:00. We park the van and go to cafe (3:30). Coffee, wander around, post office, phone calls. Music store finally has Dave B's bass strings. I go back to van and nap until 8:30.

The Antenna Club was pretty dingy. We played there a few times. The nap proved to be a bad idea...

Load in and set up. Only band - we check - OK sound. Eat. Play long set at 11 or so - 40 to 50 people. 'Wax Figures' [a band I think?] - nice people - Cathy and Sherry. Stay at their house. Real comfortable. To bed at 1:30. I had a hard time sleeping. Fell asleep at 3:30 or so.

This is the last full entry in the diary for this tour. I noted the complete schedule in the back of the book (I used the classic black speckled "composition" books for these diaries). The schedule goes until March 16th, but I note that we only played three more shows before returning home. I'll enter the last three dates - Monroe, LA, New Orleans, LA, and Pensacola, FL. before the next tour diary begins tomorrow - September 12, 1986.
