Show Day - [no weather report]

Up - drive to Nashville. Eat - go to club - "Exit/In". Load in, set up and check. OK sound. 'The End' from Dallas opening - nice guys - hang out and drink beer, wander around. I call home and buy "Drum" tobacco.

The Exit/In is still around. I began smoking Drum back in art school. An instructor used to hand roll and several of us picked it up. It's really strong stuff. I quit smoking (cold turkey) over 10 years ago.

'The End' play - sound like 'Love Tractor' - 'U2' - OK, not great. We play an OK set. 90 or so people. Packup and get dicked at the door. Carter - Jennifer's friend who said hello at sound check - never returned to let us stay at his house, so we drove out of town and checked into a motel in Dickson - $33 - cheapo! To bed at 2AM.

Here's the Trouserpress entry regarding 'Love Tractor'.
