Up at 11AM. Shower and TV. Rod puts on "Ilsa - She Wolf of the SS" - sick movie - especially at noon. Everybody up. Get Bill Levin up. We all drive over to Indianapolis to get check cashed.
Here's the info on Ilsa from the IMBD. My only memory of it is of it's incredible low budget-ness. Funny that we had to get our host "the Ghost" up. He's probably the only promoter we'd allowed to pay by check. Remember kids - always get cash money!
Drive to Dayton - Wright State University. Arrive at 3:30 - load in. Tons of people in the campus club. Afternoon show. Set up. Play 2 sets. Interviewed by NBC affiliate. Sign lots of stuff - radio interviews etc. Go to hotel supplied by college. Eat, watch TV - "Year of Living Dangerously". To bed.
You can see this NBC affiliate interview on our DVD "Philadelphia in Love". It's one of my favorite bits on the disc. And here is the IMBD info on "The Year of Living Dangerously".
