The drive North was uneventful. Snow started about Des Moines Iowa. Arrived in Minneapolis about 10:30AM. Mike up. Dave B. Me and Mike go for coffee. Others sleep. We walk to a record store then wander home. I nap until 6 or so. Dave B. and I go for dinner (others had eaten). Stop at used book store. Rod catches us - Dave B. stays. Rest of us go to see movie "Brazil". OK movie - not great. Home to bed.
Mike B. was a friend of Dave Blood's from his days at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I've since seen Brazil a more few times and like it quite a lot.
Posted by Dean at February 23, 1986 10:23 PMi enjoy seeing the day's weather temperature with each entry -- this is the sort of thing you don't think of when bands tour, how you guys would go through drastic changes of climate and weather and temp in such a short amount of time. how did that affect your health??
Posted by: tim at February 15, 2004 02:09 PMYes - you're right - it was a bit weird driving from 90 degrees to snow in a few days. Of course we'd have to pack all kinds of clothes.
