Up at noon. Coffee and shower. I feel a little better - ears still clogged. Eat at a new restaurant. Back home we go to a music store. I buy a new bass drum pedal - $40. Back to house and load up. Scott is here. Talk - he lives with his girlfriend now.
Getting sick on tour was the worst. Your body is already tired and frazzled from the late nights and drinking and smokey clubs. If you were sick, you'd have to try to save up all your energy to use at the show. Once on stage though, a clogged head from a cold might suddenly clear up because your body is running on adrenaline. After the set you're completely drained. The other problem is that the sick person is cooped up in the van with everyone else. We passed those colds around all the time.
Go to club - "The Beach". Small but nice. Load in and have a beer. 'Glass Eye' play - new songs are good - show is good - record is good. We play a good set. Good crowd. Home after we eat at late night joint. To bed at 3AM.
Good, good, good, everything is good. I think the new Glass Eye album I refer to is called "Huge". Probably very out of print now.
