Day Off - Sunny/Warm

Up late at 1PM. Coffee Tylenol, bagels and eggs. Feeling a bit better after a shower. I do laundry. Dave R. and I stay home - the rest go into town for money. Dave R. calls El Paso - show is ON. I hope we are all well enough to play. Laundry is going slow - took all day to wash and dry 7 loads.

I talk of staying home yet get back below...I can't remember where I did laundry.

Back at 5-6 or so. Shower and change. Eat spaghetti for dinner made by Jenny's mom. Very good dinner. After - we laze around. I wanted to go into town just to see what it was like. Jenny, Rod, myself and Jenny's friend Kerry left for a beer. Kerry drove. We went to one place but she didn't have ID so we leave and get take out 6 packs. Drive up mountain to the very top. Park - great view of Santa Fe - all lights - very pretty. Drank, talked and watched shooting stars - I'd never seen one before.

Not sure who was under age here - Kerry or Jenny. I suppose Rod or my license would have been just be too confusing. I remember driving out West at nights and being able to see the whole sky filled with stars and the towns up ahead all lit up in the middle of nowhere.

Back down the mountain and back to Jenny's house. At home we climbed onto the roof and watched more stars and talked. Rod and Dave R. and Kerry and John (Edge bassist) got into some political discussion. I nodded off. Woke up and went down to sleep on couch - very tired.

Dave and I seemed to get better fairly quickly. I imagine it was just the all night drives and late nights catching up with us. Nice of Jenny to put us all up for two nights even without a show.
