Woke up at 10 or so. Had coffee etc. Walked with store with Blood - coffee, filters, Danish, cigarettes. Dave R. made calls - tried Jan B. all day - no answer. More calls. We are playing Cathay DeGrand Wednesday [tomorrow] and are playing Madame Wong's on the 7th and a hall show on the 8th - WE set that one up. Other than that it looks like no shows?

Called Mom and Dad - everything's fine. Took the boys to the post office and the money machine. System is down - get money tomorrow. Picked up stuff for burritos then back to Terry's to make dinner. Watched TV and called Lee W. To his house about 8:30. Met some friend of his - sort of - weird guy next door who was really drunk. Talked, pizza, beers and wine coolers. Lee bought our record that day. Stayed until 12:30 or so - home to bed at 1AM. Our first show in over a week tomorrow. I hope we can still turn it on.

I never drank the wine coolers. Honest! I note another bad side effect of too many days off - the musical chops get rusty real fast.
