Slept late - 1:30PM - up slowly. We took Kathy to Bob Evan's for breakfast - then to Stuart's to pick up her car (we gave her a ride home from Indianapolis - Stuart had left early). Stopped in town to pick up cassette power adaptor. Heard from someone on the street that Stuart was in Jail - for what we don't know. Hopefully nothing serious - more later.

I don't remember what Stuart was in jail for. I don't think we stopped then to find out (or if it was really true...).

Left West Lafayette about 4:30 or so. I drove to Chicago to the 'Smarts' apartment - got there about 7:30 or so. Nice place. Met 'A' who lives with the 'Smarts' - weird girl. Lisa is very nice. Frank and his girlfriend Cathy also extremely nice. Frank made Mexican food for dinner. Delicious meal complete with Tequila. Nice evening. Watched Twilight Zone. Rod went with 'A' to a party on the other side of town. We went to bed 12:30 or so - Rod got home at 4:30AM. We go to Minneapolis tomorrow.

Label mates Get Smart were kind enough to put us up on the floor for a night. I think the Twilight Zone I refer to is the movie that came out in 1983. As you see from the last few days, we had some big holes in the tour already. Too many days off. On future tours we tried to play at least 5 and usually 6 days out of 7.
