Ding Dong... the witch is dead!

Thomas Kinkade, "Painter of Light" ... or shall I say "Painter of Shit" is dead!!!!

It makes me feel a little bit better about life knowing that he will never again paint one of his horrible, smarmy paintings.

Kinkade said something like he painted what people wanted or to make them happy.People want Bud Light and Mccdonalds.

They tried to compare him to Rockwell, Norman not Kent, George Lincoln or that "Somebody's Watching Me" guy.But Rockwell was actually enormously talented regardless if you like his work or not.

I thought this guy was pretty interesting: http://www.capitalnewyork.com/article/c ... g-outsider

I'm a little embarrassed that this is going to be my first post, but...
That guy followed his bliss, even of that bliss was to produce sentimental, tacky crap. I can't be happy that anyone who's not terminally ill (or isn't a leader of the Westboro Baptist Church) would choose to take their own life, and I'm a little surprised that any Milkmen fan would be.
