if you're into being depressed for a couple minutes, it's worth listening to some songs by Richmond Fontaine, a sadly underappreciated alt-country band that it would be nice to see get more fans.

I was in Michale's, you know, the big art supply store Sunday and the usual big joke with that place is they always have the sappiest music piped in like Barbara Streisand. But this day The Cure came on,that really morose "I Will Always Love You" song.Art Fag Heaven.I never even listened to them til 1990 when I met all these young kids who did. It's pretty good really but I got some records that haven't been played in 20 years if anybody's interested. Currently listening to "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" Babs is just the best.

Hahaaaa I love that store. I like The Cure but never /really/ got into them yanno? Also, I think I have a split personality or something. How is one an art-fag AND a punk at the same time?

Also, listening to Coffin Break, yeahrrr!!

Foxy Shazam!

oh... and Mike Doughty. His new book, Book of Drugs, is pretty good. He tells all about how much he hates Soul Coughing. Oh yeah... and drugs.
