Too much country music for my own good. Right now, Hank Williams.

Nothing wrong with the odd numbered Hanks.

I never got to thank you eve you got me hooked on Los Straightjackets. I actually came across some vinyl of theirs. I own Los Straightjackets with the world famous pontani sisters and kaiser george which has more of a rock and roll feel I was hoping to get on their surf side. I also got supersonic guitars in 3-D which came with some wicked 3-D specks. I hadn't seen a movie in 3-D since I got the record but I plan on bring my own shades to the next one I see.

I'm a big fan of III. Too bad Joe Buck isn't in the current band, but his own stuff is great.

Do you also like Th’ Legendary Shack*Shakers? I believe Joe Buck was their guitarist before joining III’s band. They are definitely one of the best bands I’ve seen live and their last two albums, Pandelerium and Swampblood are SO good.

Addict, you’re welcome! Los Straitjackets are pretty fun!! I haven’t listened to them in such a long time! I wonder if I have any on my iPod… And may I suggest you check out the Shack*Shakers mentioned above. I believe you’d like the Pandelerium album.

If you like the shack shakers and hank williams, etc. check out http://www.myspace.com/howlintumbleweeds. My friends' band. Their CD is really good if you want to buy it on CD Baby.

I have a jazz thing happening. Coltrane, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, and of course the classic Getz and Gilberto. (Got to get to Ipanima some day to leer at that girl.)

Lots of Devo lately...

If I am ever in a band again, I am going to force my bandmates to cover "Smart Patrol / Mr. DNA".
