I think I've seen one of the Death Wish movies, it went like this:

Charles Bronson visits friend in a tall building full of old white people located in ghetto.
Friend gets killed for standing up to neighborhood thugs.
Charles Bronson vows to avenge friend's death.
He fights thugs and cleans up neighborhood.

Fantasia sucked, I hated it. I don't care about the composition or the artistic value, it was boring as fuck and not at all funny. Toy Story kicks its ass.

To this day I still enjoy watching all of those classic animated Disney movies (Sword in the Stone, Jungle Book, Snow White, Robin Hood, etc.) and the newer ones (Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame). The CGI ones are all right. Toy Story 1 and 2 are great, as was Finding Nemo. But the Shreks suck. I don't understand why those became so popular. Fantasia was never really my cup of tea, either.

Fantasia blows. I couldn't give a shit less about words in songs, but movies are based on words.

Of those choices above, I definetely pick "Who gives a rat's ass?"

The Shrek movies aren't Disney, they're SKG / Dreamworks.

Tecnically the Pixar movies aren't Disney either, just bankrolled and distributed
by Disney, but made by Pixar. And of them, The Incredibles kicks fucking ass!

But for straight up Disney, no one will ever match the awesomeness of the hand
drawn animation in Pinoccio. It just can't be done. 101 Dalmations has a great old
UPN style to it that I really like, and I just saw Lilo & Stitch for the first time the
other day- it seems like the first Disney movie with a heavy Japaname influence,
which i really liked alot.

If Disney could ever come to the realization that "Animated Feature" and
"Musical" aren't absolutely married to one another, I'd be happy.

I saw Walk the Line the other day. Jaquian (sp?) Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon will both get nominated.

It was a Katrina fundraiser at the Gene Siskel Film Center. It was actually hosted by Ebert and Roeper which was really cool. Well worth the 100 bucks I dropped for it (free concessions and poster). The movie is great. It is truly amazing how much Phoenix sounds like Johnny Cash.

Has anyone ever seen the reflecting skin? Theres a funny part when these kids put a reed up a frogs ass and blow it up like a balloon. Some lady walks by and looks at it wondering what the hell happened to the frog. Then the kids hit it with a sling shot and the frog exploded with bloody bits all over her face.

In the French-Canadian thriller "Léolo" http://imdb.com/title/tt0104782/ there's a scene where the neighbourhood kids gangbang a cat- then later on I think a kid rents his sister to the "boys"- or maybe that just Gummo- which ever- it's a fucked up flick- the french are insane when it comes to weird sex-scenes in movies.
