I saw Clerks II after work on Friday and really loved it. So much infact, that I went to see it again on Saturday after work.

Lady in the Water was okay I guess. I kinda need to see the last 10 minutes again to sort out how I really felt about it.

This Tuesday I 'm going to the Fangoria sneak preview of The Descent.

I have yet to read a bad review from anybody that has seen an advanced screening of The Descent.

It's a British horror film from the director of Dog Soldiers, which is an awesome horror movie in it's own right.

I've heard nothing but awesome stuff about it. Can't wait.

I'm watching Commando right now 8) .

Oh- and I too saw Lady in the Water.
It is to movies as diarrhea is to humans. Weird exotic diarrhea.
It's worth seeing for it's weird shapes and colors (as far as feces go) but it still has a repugnant odor.

Last night I saw 32 Short Films About Glenn Gould on TV. It was good. I like
François Girard's work and I am a big fan of Don McKellar's work as well.

There was a sneak preview screening a few weeks ago in LA. There is a free screening on Thursday in Hollywood, but upon further investigation, I found out it was Hollywood, FL not Hollywood, CA. Sorry.

I have passes to see it again next wednesday in boston, however I will be at the Warped tour that night.

I figured this was a great place to post Mr. X's latest blog.

Years ago when Mr, X was in college has knew a female. This female was hot and oozed sex. Mr. X wanted nothing more than to get her naked and ca-noodle her. One night she came over and did everything imaginable to Mr. Xs 2.3 inches you can think of. Mr. X looks back on that and recalls her as being the greatest foreplay artist he has ever been with. Sadly thats all she was, a foreplay artist. Mr. X never got the chance to ca-noodle her. After over an hour of foreplay. She stood up got dressed and left Mr. Xs apartment. Mr. X was left wanting more and wondering why in the world a moment like that would just end.

This is exactly how Mr. X feels right now after seeing Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest. The movie has more cliffhangers and a rock-climbing wall. So many unanswered questions. You are on the edge of your seat and then BOOM it just ends. Just like back in college when she walked out of Mr. Xs place. Did Mr. X stop and reminisce about what just transpired? No Mr. X is not that smart. He cursed the fact he has to wait for more.

It is classic Hollywood in the fact they leave you wanting more, but Mr. X guesses the only real thing wrong with the movie is he has to wait for the next part. It is not like Deadwood where he knows he will see the next episode the following week on HBO. This is a movie and it will be a year minimal before he sees the next installment. The thing that worries Mr. X is he has to try and stay alive for one more year until that movie comes out.

Mr. X thought he had nothing else movie wise to look forward too. Star Wars is all but done. Mr. X lived long enough to say he saw them all in theaters during their original release. Then Mr. X was like okay Mr. X can die now. He saw all the Star Wars in Theaters. As well as all the Die Hards, Jurassic Parks, Terminators, and Rambos. Sadly Mr. X needs to stay alive a lot longer because Hollywood is making sequels to all those movies. Mr. X hardly fears anything, not even death, But Mr. X does not want to die until he has seen every last one of these movies completed. Mr. X will not leave his house for the next year but only to go to work. Mr. X will be careful what he eats. Mr. X will start to go to the doctor more regularly. Mr. X needs to stay alive to see these movies.

Mr. X needs to just stop watching movies period. What if something happens to Mr. X and he never finds out what happened to Captain Jack Finch? What if he never sees the next Jurassic Park or Die Hard? Mr. X must see these movies. It is Mr. Xs destiny to see all these films.

If anyone needs Mr. X he will be hiding under his bed with a baseball bat and a box of Fruit Loops to eat for the next year

I learned about the screening before the showing but after it had already sold out :(.

I just looked at the movie poster in an LA Weekly, and noticed that the directors are the same people that did the Smashing Pumpkins video for "Tonight, Tonight". Cool.

Well..this sort of applies to the movie thread..
I saw the coolest porno EVER online and I am happy. It takes place inside a huge auditorium where more than a hundred petite cute asian girls all have sex simultaneously. It is amazing.
Where is trashlikeyou to share in my happiness?

I got the analogy and everything, but immediately after seeing the first Pirates of the Caribbean, I immediately wanted less, not more.
