Dead Milkmen Free For All

After consulting with several other veteran FFA posters, we have decided to officially make the Athens DM show COW CON III.

For those not familiar with Cow Con, it is a gathering of Dead Milkmen fans, mostly from the FFA, to finally meet up after engaging in online conversations for sometimes months and years. The first Cow Con took place in Philadelphia in November of 2004. Many loyal longtime Dead Milkmen FFA posters attended the show and used that as an opportunity to spend the weekend with each other including, Mang The Goat, KKsuck2, Tarantula, FrankieAndAnnette, Doctor Love, BigtimeOperator and more.

It would be four years until another Cow Con was held when many FFA posters met up and spent the weekend together in Austin, Texas at the Fun Fun Fun Festival.

Now, in 2011, 3 years since the last Cow Con, We are happy to announce Cow Con III will be taking place in Athens, Ga for the Athens Pop Festival.

For those posters wanting to join us for the weekend festivities we have already done most of the grunt work for you.

The concert will be taking place at the 40 Watt Club located at:
285 East Washington Street, Athens, GA

As for hotel we have looked at many different options and have decided the OFFICIAL hotel for Cow Con III will be the Days Inn Athens. It is located 0.6 miles from the 40 Watt Club (11 minute walk according to Google Maps) and it's $71 a night (that includes tax). If you put 4 people in a room that comes out to only $17.75 each. Not to shabby I think.

Some notes:

a. I am currently being told that separate day tickets will be available in about three weeks. As of last month, I was told that separate day tickets will be around 15-20 bucks, but we'll see what happens when they are officially up for sale.

b. Full fest passes (October 11-15) are $70 bucks, and can be purchased here: http://www.ticketalternative.com/Events/14767.aspx#.TjLIEI1pzJE.facebook If anyone wants to do the full fest, that's the way to go.

c. We like beer. We're fun people to drink with.

d. Did I mention that we like beer? I did? Good.

Dammit. There's totally a typo in my email address but I just friend requested you on facebook. *rant* I hate facebook because I have to go searching again for all my myspace friends and adding everybody again and the thing is so fucking inferior and a step backward. Now, I get informed when any person gets a thought in their fucking head like "oh, I love air and food..". And I can't communicate honestly on the site cause my parents gave me friend requests and i can't not add them.
