I tested and all files extract ok. Let me know if there are any problems.

Two sources are included in this rar:

Copy 1: Full demo, track list that I just listed. From John C's tape, a few gens, 160kbps, sounds decent, but it's an old tape that had been played and loved.
Copy 2: Selected Outtakes. From Joe's master. 128kbps, sound quality is fucking amazing, but suffers from being just 128 unfortunately.

Tracklisting of full version:

01 - I Dream Of Jesus
02 - Little Volcano
03 - Get Off My Cloud (original version of Woman Who Was Also A Mongoose)/Flightless Birds Love Connie (outtake)
04 - Jason's Head
05 - Say It With Prism Letters
06 - Not Crazy
07 - I Started To Hate You
08 - Leggo My Ego
09 - Nobody Falls Like
10 - Edmond Fits Loosely (outtake)
11 - The Damage Is Done (outtake)
12 - Wisconsin Pt. 2 (outtake)
13 - Song With No Name (outtake)

There is a third source that I might be able to get my hands on too, it might sound better than John's tape (less generations, but I can't vouch for the condition of the tape that it was recorded on... very interesting story that I will tell when the time comes), and I believe it to be full as well. I'll let y'all know if this happens.

edit: Another source has surfaced as well, thanks to Dirty Sanchez. These tracks will complete the demo tape to bring a total of 20 songs in all. The tracks here reflect the track numbers on the CD that Dirty ripped these from: http://www.mediafire.com/?tglhkktqmzt

15 - The Infant of Prague Customized My Van
16 - Unknown
17 - Shapes of Things
18 - Unknown
19 - Unknown
20 - Let's Get The Baby High

The sound quality of these tracks is... amazing. That's all I can say.

NRBD is one of my favorite albums, by any band. Thanks to CLL and anyone else responsible.

Naw, the third version I believe is identical to John C's tracklisting, it might just have better sound. Your version sounds very interesting, I would love to hear it to see what all is different.

Very interesting... I wonder if 15 - 20 are a part of a different demo, or if this is the same tape (and the current circulating versions are incomplete).

I very very very much want to hear this.

Also Sparks: 17 probably is Shapes of Things, the NWA10/20 version possibly came from these sessions. 19... I wouldn't think they'd be doing "Don't Abort That Baby" at this point in their career, but it COULD be possible... not ruling it out... that would have made a killer track to have before or after "Let's Get The Baby High."

...16 and 18... I'm drawing a blank too. I have to wonder if these are songs that I haven't heard...

ok, upon further inspection #17 is "shapes of things", the guitars are turned too loud and i couldn't make out the lyircs before, but that is the first line of the song.

#19 is not "don't abort that baby", i know that one. it is probably my favorite track on this cd however. chorus is "i hope you have it, i hope you like it, i hope you love it, i hope you don't kill it"... if that helps any

#16 i can't imagine would be called anything but "workers paradise", it's repeated a bunch of times in the chorus

#18 starts off "hill top house overlooking the bay, it is night the sky is moody and grey"
maybe the boys in the band can help ID these. i got this disc in a trade probably 10 years ago so i really have no idea what the source is.

lettuce, send me your e-mail again. i can rip any/all the tracks to mp3 and e-mail them to you...that's about as high tech as i get.

cultleaderlettuce@gmail.com

If you could rip tracks 15-20 to mp3, that would be amazing. I suspected for a while that our copies of the NRBD demos were incomplete... I remember reading somewhere that the milkmen did have ten outtakes, which now appears to indeed be the case. I also knew that they had a demo for Let's Get The Baby High (though during the point of demos, I think it was still called "A Philadelphia Story"), because one of the milkmen once mentioned how Hollywood didn't like the song.

Indeed... and these tracks are fucking amazing. Seriously, I hope these outtakes someday get to see some sort of release.
