I used to have a tape of the first two Touch Me Zoo tapes, from the days when TMZ was just a duo of Joe Jack and Seven. Unfortunately that tape is no longer in my possession (lost in a move/eviction methinks), but I did recently stumble on a comp I had made in my old minidisc collection. This is a collection of what I felt were the best tracks on the two tapes at the time I made this in the late 90's (or maybe it was the early 2000's, not sure). Unfortunately I left some songs off that I wish I had included now, but it's worth a listen.

This isn't a milkhouse link because the tape wasn't in the best shape when I ripped it (I played the FUCK out of this tape), so I don't really want to put it up there. _________________ The unofficial archivist. Keep digitizing those old recordings everybody!
Current Projects: A stack of tapes from Timothy, will be hopefully getting those finished soon! Lotsa upgrades to things that have been circulating for a while. |

Thanks!!! This is some great stuff!
One note, not that it's a big deal... Mediafire sez that track 8 is bad or missing or something. No downloadie.
Oh well... Blackbird alone makes up for it. My wife asked me "what the hell" I was playing. |

Thanks again, CLL!
I think I'm going to record these tracks to a cassette tape just so that I can have the joy of playing it to death, too! When's the last time I did that?!? That's something these goddam kids just don't understand nowadays. The closest thing they'll ever get to it is dropping their iPod... whine whine whine. |

Hey youngsoulrebel, make sure you browse the Milkhouse as well... that is if you haven't already. You'll find a lot more neat stuff there.

Thanks again.
TMZ makes me think of Lemon Kittens, which is a good thing. |
