So I've run off a few copies of the Milkmen at the First Unitarian Church, October 26, 2008, in honor of Mang the Goat's visit and impending Dim Sum action. For reasons I won't go onto, it's a huge pain in my balls to run off DVDs, but I'd like more folks to have copies of this show!
So here's my deal- I ran off one (1) more copy than I need. I'll send it to YOU if YOU will then burn two copies to give to Milkmen fans (be they FFA members or not). Then tell those folks to do the same.
If this works out, I also have a couple JJT and Low Budgets videos I may try this with one day...
So be the first person to post here and say, "I'll do it!", and then email me where you would like the DVD sent, and I'll send you the disc.
My email is donno13 at hotmail dot com
Peace,
D
PS- if you're NOT the first person to post, but really really want the disc, I may be persuaded to give it to you instead by really awesome pix of boobies. It's worth a try, anyway. _________________ Let Stand No Dance Leg Quiet. |

I'll do it!
I've shared some Oingo Boingo DVDs that I mastered with tracks and menus and junk the same way. People were bootlegging on eBay, so I actually posted them on eBay saying, "Don't bid for these... they are free." It worked alright... and I didn't even get plowed with requests. |

Yo mang, what was that dvd you mentioned to me on facebook a couple weeks ago? If you have the time (and the upload speed), I might ask you to upload the video_ts folder from it onto my mediafire account (im me, I'll give you the pass, I have a paid account now which allows for some pretty hefty file sizes). _________________ The unofficial archivist. Sean- enjoy the DVD, it was awesome seeing you.
It still makes me laugh that we were both wearing Spinal Tap shirts- what are the odds? _________________ Let Stand No Dance Leg Quiet. |

Lettuce,
I think that was me on facebook writing you about the dvd. What the heck. I see how it is with you responding back. It's cool.
Here is the link in case anyone wants to contact this person about the CA show. That is the only one I haven't heard about.

Actually John, I haven't messaged you back because I'm trying to get a list from another trader who might have some more milkmen, and if those shows were on his list, I didn't need to search any further. I'm also waiting for a chance to get in touch with my friend who I had bid on that Ebay vhs for me, but he's not around much at the moment (has a sick grandmother) so I haven't been able to pick it up from him yet. I guess I should have sent a reply, but I wasn't really wanting to say anything until I at least had the vhs from ebay in my hands and in my vcr. (also, as a sidenote, I'm stuck with a dvd burner that's being very unreliable, so until I get back from the vacation I'm taking in a couple of weeks, I won't be able to purchase another drive so I'm not really able to dupe dvd's at the moment for trade)
Mang though sent me a chat on facebook a while back about a dvd of one of the DM warmup shows prior to the Warsaw show I think, and I wasn't able to figure out a way for him to get it to me until now. _________________ The unofficial archivist. Keep digitizing those old recordings everybody!

Sorry for the late reply CCL.
I have 1/2 of the first night of warmup shows from October. I think it is about 2G and saved in qt format? Sound is ok. Let me watch it again today and see if it is worth sharing. _________________ "Nobody likes a quitter.
