I got the replacement box for Season 6 when it was first offered. I want my dvds to line up on the shelf evenly. The heads are cool, I guess, but I'm all about the box.

Dr. love, I'm not sure what you were getting at with your collectible head box comment, but I came across this in my Simpsons DVD research:

I was just wondering if other countries, Austrailia for example, get the option of a Simpson head-box or if it was just the U.S. and Canada?
Every other country has a different region, and a lot of times they change the titles of films or the box art from the States counterpart.
I once read that "As Good As It Gets" was released in Korea under the name "Mr. Cat Poo." And when I visited England, most VHS jackets were totaly different.

That's a pretty funny link though. I prefer the heads, myself.

I know this turned into a DVD thread or whatever, but it started off as a "What are we doing with our lives" thread so I'll roll on that ball.

Yesterday I applied for and I'm pretty sure I got a second job working at a golf course. I already knew the guy there(I used to play all the time) and my dad had connections anyway. The golf pro's out of town right now, but when he gets back I was told I'd be getting a call back to be told what's going on. I'm gonna work all through the fall and go back to school in the winter, keeping the golf job or whatever my second job happens to be at the time while getting rid of the bakery job. I figured out one of the problems I've been having for the past year or so is that I've become way too dependant on other people for my own happiness, pissing my life away on the computer, getting sad over people who don't matter, and I realize that's wrong. Especially since I hate people anyway and they never even liked me much. So I figure if I can do as much stuff to keep myself occupied as I can, I'll be happy in the sense that I'll be making myself happy, doing things to improve my character, and not relying on any assholes who suck to do things for me. I fucking hate people and will do what I can to not be near them at all costs. So what if work places and school are full of people? I'm not there to talk to them. I'm there to make money and learn. It's not like anybody will approach me at either place anyway so I can feel free to become a better person without fuckheads interfering and messing everything up. Fuck everybody.

The 17th was my birthday that 18th was my birthday party. I thouroughly enjoyed my birthday party I spent around 140 dollars on boose so I was nice and crab hammered. I stole this tube that was under a for sale sign on a lawn and that is what I used to collect money for the second beer run. (you can look at the lovely info tube here www.infotube.net ) But since there was so much beer a lot fo the people were gone before it was so I bought 3 case3s with the info tube money. So I had about 40 bucks to spare from there. My friend Dirty brought me steak for my birthday it was nice. I got really drunk and pretty high and rode my bike home around 5 in the am. The next two days were spent recouperating after my birthday I slept till 8 at night and the ne t day I was just drained so I spent my money on delivery food and sat around. After that I helped a friend of my mothers move for 20 dollars but the bitch gave me a check. So I spent all day yesterday finding a way to get it cashed. I had to have 2 forms of id if I didnt have a bank account so luckily enough I ran into an aquaintance who lokced his keys inside his car while it was still running and I got him to cash my check for me. After that I walked a couple of miles and bought myself a new glass pipe it was a 60 dollar pipe I got for 40. I have yet to smoke out of it and I plan on changing that soon. After I got the pipe I played street hockey with some friends till about 3 in the morning. Thats about it a little drull but better than sitting at home everyday.

Today my sister bought me my birthday present. That present is a tattoo of else with secrets hold death Lies only build walls On the top and bottom of her. The words were put in ribbon font the closest thing I can think of to the smokin banana peels one. The artist who did my tattoo did three of my sisters and he is a milkmen fan. He usually doesn't do band tattoos but he made an exception for this. I got tattooed while listening to not richard but dick and soul rotation on the same mix! The remainder of the time was spent listening to some psychobilly bands like the coffin nails the krewmen and nekromantix. I will have a picture of it soon enough. But I would say I enjoyed my 18th birthday its about damn time too up and until now I had shitty birthdays but I got a pipe a tattoo and cigarettes for a little over a week. Twas fun now back to the normal everyday bs.

I should try this out.

Not like I depend on my girlfriend for my own happiness anymore anyway. Rolling Eyes

Now I suspect it's the other way round. She sure made a bad choice somewhere.

The beauty of being an apathetic asshole. If people aren't around, it doesn't matter. If they are, you can milk them for all they're worth and they'll be none the wiser.

After a year or so where I actually cared about people and their feelings, I gotta agree. Now I'm becoming sadistic.

I myself am too lathargic to care about anyones problems. It's none of my business and that is a good enough excuse to not have to worry about other peoples problems. I used to care myself in fact I used to care a little too much but getting walked over a few times finished that up real fast.
