It's always been one of my lifetime goals to be charged with indecent exposure.

like i said before....
living in smalltown Michigan, i was too young, and never had a chance to see the milkmen play.... then one day *POOF* they're gone....

but nows a different story....

id drive to philly to see them play another show.... i dont care if thats the only place they would play, id be there!

who needs a tour.... " if you build it, they will come.... "

P.S.
original lineup, or no lineup at all !

(back to your roots fellas... play the barn and invite us message board losers!)

One last show (or shows) isn't that exciting to me. I have my memories and the music. I want to see other bands covering milk tunes. How about The Dead playing "the thing that only eats hippies" and turning it into a 30 minute jam? Maybe Phish could play an entire album for their New Year's Eve gig. Let the Milkmen live in peace and honor them with tribute instead of begging for more. Remember your scripture: "thine greedy shall perish in the lake of fire" Mark 2:11

What about PPV? Have you ruled that option out?

If I had the chance too, I wouldn't see it on PPV, I'd freakin drive to Philly to see them.

Original lineup or no show for me. We need all of the deads for it to be a show.

Do I think the DM would tour again? EVERY statement they've made is no. But the very idea that they maintain this website is an encouragement. Call me a freak, but I mention the DM every day to somebody-anybody. The more people I turn to the Milk Side, the better the probability. Tell your friends. Spread the Lactose Gospel. I have some qualms about seeing the DM without the original lineup, BUT seeing anyone playing my favorite music live and loud is better than only having CDs. Well, I'd never pay money to see Van Halen without Diamond Dave, but this is different.

I think that the fact that Dave can't even play the bass anymore without great pain would severely limit the chances of a tour. I would probably go so far as to rule out a single show, there's a lot of practice that would be needed to put one on. Sadly it seems that those of us that have seen the Dead Milkmen in concert are a dying breed never to reproduce.

That's probably due to the fact that, they we're so good that they didn't need to practice :) , "Eat your Paisley's" KKSUCK2 was so freaken rad- and that was only their second (pro) album!- I know dudes that have been recording/ performing/ showing off /whatever- for more than ten years and can't communicate with their band mates in a song the way that piece of musical art does- I wish I was a Dead MIlkmen- but instead I just get to play air bass in my imaginary band "Jim Jones & the electric kool-aid five"

Now I remember why this thread is still here. The poll threads have to be deleted manually. Damn.

Alright, VH1 has a show, called "Bands Reunited." Most of the bands they reunite are art fag bands. HOWEVER, they have a message board on www.VH1.com. I've posted a section called Dead Milkmen. Get on it, post on it, flood the damn board! If we can't do it, maybe VH1 can!!!

Yeah, right.
