Take a gander at these photos though http://www.nyharvestfest.com/photos/ I feel really bad for the guy with The Yellow Submarine if he shows up this year and you guys are drinking heavily that night.

Tell me about it. That scene looks like my worst f***ing nightmare. A bunch of stoners who muster all the little bit of motivation from their utopian slacker lives for...some sort...of cause...I guess. I can think of a hundred other causes to support that might actually have some value. Torn about attending to enjoy/support friends or not attending to avoid these people. But hey, they're probably all happy right? |

Yeah, I'm honestly not really psyched about "Harvest Fest" ("Fest being short for "festering"), but I'll give it my all, and I might be wrong, it might turn out to be a good time. Yes, people who smoke pot tend to annoy me too ("As soon as I get organized..." "Wow, I didn't think I'd be late...again") but I still think Devil Weed should be legal. And it'll probably be better then most of those Punk nostalgia fests we keep getting invited to.
PS. The following punk bands are on tour this Fall: Go see them - Angels on Acid/End the DJ; Angelspit/Cyanotic/MyParasites; Assemblage 23; Ludavico Technique; Caustic |

I saw the Jesus And Mary Chain will be at Union Transfer on Septemer 8 (which also happens to be my birthday, but I'm sure it's also a lot of other people's birthdays too) which might be a good time. They've got a pretty full fall tour schedule. Still a throwback but even so... |

Hey Dean, maybe not the place for it, but I did email before. I was just trying to add some new tabs (yes, finally) to the site but the login didn't work anymore. No worries, but I'd like to fix a few things up some time if that's cool.
