AWESOME IDEA
BUG is Dinosaur JR.s third lp. so
BUCKY FELLINI would be in our hands
By the way does anybody know an alternative for the abandoned filesharing
megaupload so I could offer my band's (Little Fury Things) downloads again?

We basically have enough footage with all the past shows. Although, it would be good to get a hand full of people to capture the same show. |
Who all has taped DM shows here? There's you, me, Dirty Sanchez, and Donno. Anyone else? I bet if you got the four of us together with cameras setup on tripods in various places at a venue, and get soundboard audio, we could probably put together something very watchable. _________________ The unofficial archivist. Heck, I'd bet that with John's footage from the balcony and my footage from the floor of the Dave Blood Memorial shows, we'd have an awesome edit... Throw in a soundboard recording, you'd really have something!
Same with Mr. Sanchez's stage right and my stage left footage of the Tritone show... _________________ Let Stand No Dance Leg Quiet. |

I have some footage from the Johnny Brenda's show. The sound sucks though. _________________ "Nobody likes a quitter. Nobody said that life was easy, so if you get knocked down, take the standing 8 count, get back up and fight again and you're a Macho Maniac. Dig it!" -Macho Man Randy Savage |

I didn't watch the video because Dinosaur Jr. aren't really my thing (I didn't care for Dinosaur Sr. either), but I've always like the idea of handing the reins over to the fans. Angelspit did this with videos (and that's how The Liar came to be in the band)
Here's my favorite one:

and here's another really good one:

What I'd really like to do (and I think the rest of the band is with me on this) is to eventually make the stems available on the website for remixing the way bands like Aesthetic Perfection and iVardensphere currently do.

I think federal funding for stem research has been curtailed. Maybe kickstarter could help... _________________ Let Stand No Dance Leg Quiet. |
