I am thinking this would be awesome if the DM did something similar to this:

BUCKY FELLINI Embarassed would be in our hands

megaupload so I could offer my band's (Little Fury Things) downloads again?

Seems like a couple of bands have done this. Saw an Iggy Pop one too.
We basically have enough footage with all the past shows. Although, it would be good to get a hand full of people to capture the same show.

Who all has taped DM shows here? There's you, me, Dirty Sanchez, and Donno. Anyone else? I bet if you got the four of us together with cameras setup on tripods in various places at a venue, and get soundboard audio, we could probably put together something very watchable.

Heck, I'd bet that with John's footage from the balcony and my footage from the floor of the Dave Blood Memorial shows, we'd have an awesome edit... Throw in a soundboard recording, you'd really have something!

Same with Mr. Sanchez's stage right and my stage left footage of the Tritone show...

I have some footage from the Johnny Brenda's show. The sound sucks though.

I didn't watch the video because Dinosaur Jr. aren't really my thing (I didn't care for Dinosaur Sr. either), but I've always like the idea of handing the reins over to the fans. Angelspit did this with videos (and that's how The Liar came to be in the band)
Here's my favorite one:

and here's another really good one:

What I'd really like to do (and I think the rest of the band is with me on this) is to eventually make the stems available on the website for remixing the way bands like Aesthetic Perfection and iVardensphere currently do.

I think federal funding for stem research has been curtailed. Maybe kickstarter could help...
