What is with Dan Stevens making bandcamp pages for all of his old bands? I don't know, but here's another band in which I played bass guitar. My two best friends in the world did the writing, guitars, and singing. We started while we were in high school and did a couple more years after. Played with Town Managers and Farquar Muckenfuss (stay tuned for the future link to THEIR bandcamp page!)
Fun, Dead Milkmen-inspired stuff. And it's fucking free!

Dandrew, thank you for making all these old recordings available for everyone! I am listening though Commence Deer Molestation, and I am thoroughly loving this album!!!
I have to say, before we could make good slick recordings with home computers, it was kinda cool to see what people could get out of a Tascam Portastudio. It's what made the Weens and the Sebadohs of the world what they were, and knowing that someone could manipulate 4-track cassette any way that they wanted was a pretty impressive feat. _________________ The unofficial archivist. Keep digitizing those old recordings everybody!
Current Projects: A stack of tapes from Timothy, will be hopefully getting those finished soon! Lotsa upgrades to things that have been circulating for a while. |

Thanks, everyone! I hadn't listened to this stuff in years (since I had a tape deck in my car).
And Lettuce: it's so true about 4-track stuff. It's funny to think that we really had no idea how to use one, but "ghettoed" our way through it. Perhaps why it's not the best quality in the world. Kevin (Wildgelberry)says he might still have the original master 4-track tape(s), so I might get them and try to clean it up. As for the "18 Tracks" - well, that was in a studio so there's no excuse. |
