Hopefully blink 182 will die soon. Power Pop station will no longer play their stuff and the current alternative stations will take them out of rotation so no one will ever hear from them again.

I'm absolutely neutral about this. Could not care less. I didn't like them, I didn't hate them. There is worst and there is much better. They said they split up for an indefinite period of time. Maybe they'll come back.
Blink-182 will never be classic punk. Sex Pistols are because they were one of the first and most influantial bands. Same goes for bands like Dead Kennedys, the Ramones, etc...

Blink 182 broke up? You would think I would have been the first to know since I am on their email newsletter list. I saw their Enema of the State Tour. I was right at the front and I cried when oone of the guys, I think his name was Joey, I dunno, I don't memorize the names of band members, touched me. It was a moving moment, the kind of moving moment most people have 3 hours after they eat a good bowl of Chili.
HA HA HA now seriously...Blink 182 started a dangerious trend of something called Punk Pop. Here is the Evolution:

I think you get the idea. Just because Blink is gone all the shitty bands they opened the door for are still going to be around. Fuck them all. Fuck them all up their great big mowhawk wearing asses I say.
