I don't think anyone has ever thought of this before. Would it be cool to see a Dead Milkmen Box Set?

Well, there's NWA20 for the rare stuff, but a b-sides/demos collection would be pretty sweet.

I was thinking rare live, Funky Farm, Someone Shot Sunshine a date with the Dead Milkmen. Maybe some of the basement tapes. Then add some of the NWA 20 and some of the more obscure songs from the Albums.

but i wouldn't give my "left nard" to get one. mostly because i have i think close to everything they've ever recorded, and most of their bootlegs.

I too have most of their stuff but I was just thinking it would be cool like on their 25th Anniversary to put out a box set.

Maybe if there was a dvd with some live footage as one of the discs.

There has to be at least one last unreleased song out there as well.

I thought that, too. There should have been more choices, because I would buy it, but definitely wouldn't give up a nard.

As long as I have one nard left I'll give away the other one. I actually heard that there was a university somewhere that would pay you like $30,000 for a testicle. I thought about doing it, but I didn't really know the details. I would expect that there were some strict criteria to meet.

Remember those old metal boxes one would leave outside their door for the milkman? Or does anybody remember when there were actually milkmen?

Anyway, it would be cool if they designed a box set to look like one of the old metal milkmen boxes, but obviously made out of cardboard or something. Then they could issue heavy colored vinyl of all their releases, their DVD, filler like a T-shirt/stickers/guitar picks, and to top it off a double-album of their live benefit show. Issue them in limited quantites, hand-number them, slap a price tag of $100 on it, and I would totally buy that.

I am already putting $100 aside for that right now.

If they added some of the Promos they made throughout the year like the Banana Peels Flip book and Punk Rock Girl Paper Doll ( Reprinted of course) that would rock as well. Maybe a scrap book with some of the newsletter and concert flyers like some people mentioned. Maybe something about Dave and reprint some of the Tour Stories. There is enough DM material here on the FFA to make a nice soft covered Coffee table book to include in this set.

Call it the Dead Milkmen Activity Kit
-Everything comes in the Milk carrying case
Include the Following:
-Double DVD of the Reunion Concert
-CD(s) of rare and unreleased material
-softcover book
-Elsie The Cow Sticker
-Smoking Banana Peels Flip Book
-Punk Rock Girl Paper Doll
-T-Shirt
-Autographed photo of the Band

I would sell my left nard for that
