Baby Flamehead Reunited
Baby Flamehead, another band I (Dean) was in in the early 90′s while also in the Milkmen has reunited and we’re playing our first reunion show in Philadelphia, Friday April 16th at the M-Room. Doors are at 9PM, Tickets are $10. you must be 21+ to enter. We’ll be opening for DeLeon from Brooklyn.

The Dead Milkmen on Y-Rock
The Milkmen recently recorded a session for the Y-Rock Local Show on XPN here in Philadelphia. The show aired 3/7 but you can see photos from the session, listen to the rebroadcast on the webstream and HD radio channel (88.5 HD-2 in Phila) this Thursday 3/11 at 2 p.m. Then, it will be broadcast on 88.5 FM on Friday March 26 during Robert Drake’s Land of the Lost / Rock of the 80s Philly Local special, which airs 7-11 p.m. XPN is also going to tentatively launch the Local Tracks podcast (using our session as the inaugural episode) on March 24. I’ll post more information about that and where you can go to download it once it’s posted and live.

Last fall NPR did a story on Taco Land and the late great Ram Ayala. They used our song in the story.

Writing New Material
The Milkmen are writing and rehearsing new songs and hope to have a release later this year.
