Oh, I want one of these. I have the "Dick is Coming" shirt, but it can't really be worn anymore. I'm lucky enough to have the album too, its one of my favorites.

i was wearing my "DICK IS COMING" shirt from the not richard but dick tour in 1993 when i met my wife in '95. She thought it was funny then and still loves me in my infinite geekiness today. She just finished my Dead Milkmen shrine and i couldnt be prouder(i have set lists from shows in the early nineties that she framed with all my album covers)
I've also seen myself in "PHILADELPHIA IN LOVE" video. Stuart, recorded at the Palamino in L.A. im the tallest guy there (6'5) andmy head just floats above the others. needless to say 13 years later when i bought the video and saw myself, i about shit

Not Richard But Dick was the first thing i got of the 'dead milkmen'. I guess it's the minimalism that attracted me to it, but at first i was expecting something
different. Afterall it is out of print and when i bought it, I paid forty dollars for it. I think I was expecting something big like 'The thing that only eats hippies'. 'The Woman Who Is Also A Mongoose' was my favorourite track from the 10 track 1993 album to begin with but as i listened to it more and more i learnt to understand the other songs, and now i listen to it almost every day. 'Little Volcano','I Started To Hate You' are really special too. They remind me of the person who turned me onto 'Dead Milkmen', He was especially tallented at freestyle BMX however changed his story and traded the bicycle business for medical school. I thought he was so cool.

I got Not Richard but Dick when it first came out on cassette tape. My girldfriend at the time accidently slamed it in the car door and broke it. Over the next several years I searched Louisville, KY and found one copy on C.D. No time after the purchase I had to relocate to Missouri and in doing so I left my latest acquisition at a cast party for Oklahoma. That was in 1998 and it wasn't until six months ago that I was able to find it again. Definatley my favorite album of theirs. I was glad to get it and turn my eighteen year old nephew on to them as well. When I was eighteen (twelve years ago) no one in rural Kentucky had heard of the Dead Milkmen. Everyone thought I was some kind of freak as I left the school parking lot blasting Bleach Boys. You see...I have been a classicaly trained flutist since I was eleven.

I was lucky and randomly realized that I had a copy of "Not Richard, But Dick" that I borrowed from someone years ago. I guess I've technically stolen it now. Oh well. Luckily, I didn't have to find it on the net somewhere. Although, I did find "Soul Rotation" for $3 so that was a good deal. Thank god for poor people with changing musical tastes.

But still no news that "Not Richard..." is going to be re-released someday?? That was my favorite album then my ex-girlfriend took it after we broke up, now I have to pay $40 to get it secondhand off the net! Grrrr!

I used to have the cow logo pre-album shirt that said "Dick is coming"

I wore it all the time in high school for about a year but the funny thing is that I was only asked to change my shirt one time.
